Welcome to Teachbase. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and services. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the service.
Teachbase provides a platform for independent teachers and tutors to manage their timetables, students, and invoicing. We are a software provider and are not a party to any agreements entered into between teachers and their students.
When you create an account with us, you must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account on our service.
You are responsible for safeguarding the password or authentication methods (including Google OAuth or Magic Links) that you use to access the service and for any activities or actions under your password.
Our service allows you to generate invoices and accept payments from your students. Payment processing services for teachers on Teachbase are provided by Stripe and are subject to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement, which includes the Stripe Terms of Service (collectively, the “Stripe Services Agreement”).
By agreeing to these terms or continuing to operate as a teacher on Teachbase, you agree to be bound by the Stripe Services Agreement, as the same may be modified by Stripe from time to time. As a condition of Teachbase enabling payment processing services through Stripe, you agree to provide Teachbase accurate and complete information about you and your business, and you authorize Teachbase to share it and transaction information related to your use of the payment processing services provided by Stripe.
The service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Teachbase and its licensors. The service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of the United Kingdom and foreign countries.
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease.
In no event shall Teachbase, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the service.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
